The world

The final
frontier.

The seas have swallowed cities. Nations have collapsed. Antarctica offers a place to start again.

As the glaciers retreat, climate refugees make for the newly exposed land. Then the Consortium arrives: the surviving corporations, united into a single power.

Its enclaves promise paradise. Beyond their walls lie oil fields, forced labor and a wilderness fought over by the people driven from their new home.

Antarctica—the final continent—is humanity’s last refuge.
The Consortium means to own it.

An immense industrial settlement rises in tiers of pipes, gantries and crowded buildings.

The bounty hunter

One job
from freedom.

Sugg always brings home his quarry. He has a reputation to think of.

Biohacks give him the speed, strength and reflexes to hunt the hardest targets in the drowned cities. They also leave him indebted to the Consortium.

Now it has an offer. Take Porter, a notorious mass murderer, into Antarctica. Exchange him for the kidnapped scientist Cass Shankhill. Come back, and the debt is gone.

A simple job, they tell him.
Sugg knows better. He takes it anyway.

The journey

Beyond
the walls.

Out here, the Consortium’s enemies have their own rules.

The Ferals are the descendants of refugees who fought back. Hunted and driven into the interior, they have broken into rival clades, each with its own loyalties, rituals and weapons.

Sugg has to cross their territory with a prisoner they hate. Between him and the exchange lie ambushes, blood sports and a landscape that makes his old hunting grounds look tame.

And the scientist he’s come to collect knows why the Consortium wants her back so badly.

Armed, masked Ferals assemble beneath rough wooden crosses on the Antarctic plain.

Screen potential

For film
and television.

A new post-apocalyptic frontier

A transformed Antarctica: corporate enclaves, rebel clades and an irradiated interior. A world with its own geography, factions and visual identity.

An antihero with something to lose

Lethal, funny and emotionally armored, Sugg has built his identity around his enhancements. The journey tests who he is without their protection.

Action that keeps escalating

A train ambush, a polar-bear arena, a dirt-bike pursuit and a vast armored Land Train. Each set piece pushes Sugg further beyond familiar territory.

A mystery beneath the mission

A prisoner exchange leads toward a buried discovery that could change the planet—or put its future in the Consortium’s hands.

More than a fight to survive

Climate displacement, corporate extraction and ownership of the body give the adventure its stakes. Sugg’s struggle for freedom is written into his flesh.
